These Terms of Service govern your use of thewoodengear.com and any purchases you make from The Wooden Gear LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By using our site or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

Products

All products are handmade in small batches from natural hardwoods. Due to the nature of wood, grain patterns, color, and texture will vary between pieces — this is a feature, not a defect. Product photos are representative; your item will be unique.

We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Prices are subject to change without notice.

Orders & Payment

By placing an order you represent that you are 18 years of age or older and that the payment information you provide is accurate and authorized. We accept major credit and debit cards via Stripe.

We reserve the right to cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of pricing errors, suspected fraud, or product unavailability. If your order is cancelled, you will receive a full refund.

Shipping

Please review our Shipping Policy for current processing times, carriers, and rates. Title and risk of loss pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. We are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier or circumstances outside our control.

Returns & Exchanges

We want you to love your purchase. If something isn't right, we offer exchanges or store credit within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused and in their original condition.

To initiate an exchange, contact us at support@thewoodengear.com within 30 days of receiving your order. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item arrived damaged or defective.

Damaged or defective items: contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and we will make it right at no cost to you.

Intellectual Property

All content on this site — including product designs, photography, copy, and branding — is the property of The Wooden Gear LLC and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without our written permission.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Our products are provided "as is." We make no warranties, express or implied, beyond those required by applicable law. Wood is a natural material and its properties (hardness, grain, color) are inherent to the material and not within our control.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Wooden Gear LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our products or site. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the order in question.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Bradley County, Tennessee.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted. Continued use of our site after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
